Arduino MKR1000 Board | Maker Minute
Arduino’s MKR1000 allows makers to easily add secure Wi-Fi connectivity to projects with minimal networking experience. The MKR1000 is based on the ATSAMW25 SoC, which includes a 32-bit SAMD21 Arm® Cortex®-M0+ MCU, a WINC1500 low-power 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi module and antenna, and an ATECC508 crypto element for secure communication. The board includes a Li-Po charging circuit that automatically switches from battery power to an external 5 V supply, such as the USB port, simultaneously charging the battery. The MKR1000 provides multiple serial interfaces as well as analog and digital IOs, with a footprint of just 61.5 mm x 25 mm.
